Art and Activism Sessions

Join us for Art and Activism!

Women Friendly Leeds will be hosting a series of art and activism sessions. Led by our conversations worker Paulette, we will be making art and having conversations around the theme of women’s safety.

The sessions will be at 1pm on:

6 May, 20 May, 10 June at Unit 4, Killingbeck Court.

All women are welcome and all materials will be provided. You’re welcome to bring your own materials too if you have a preferred medium. Come and paint banners, flags, t shirts, shirts, canvas, use poetry, quotes, your voice and your imagination. We encourage you to bring any old T-shirts or shirts to upcycle and make art out of.

These sessions are for all artistic abilities, no experience required!

Some of the art may be used as part of an exhibition at an event we have coming up in September, lets get the message out that women’s safety matters!

If you require financial support, we are able to reimburse the cost of travel to these sessions.
