Our Mission

Driven by women and girls the Women Friendly
Leeds movement’s mission is to mobilise women
and girls to have their voices heard, ensure that their
needs are considered in all decision making and
empower them to lead safer, healthier, equal and
more fulfilled lives.

Empower

We want all women & girls to be empowered to use their voice; we want:

  • To learn why some women & girls have a voice & feel able to use it & others don’t
  • To learn what women & girls in Leeds want from their lives, personally, professionally & socially
  • Women & girls to be able to influence decision-making

Women & Girls Hub

The Leeds Women and Girls Hubs aim to provide opportunities for any woman, girl, independent or professional, or from any women centred group or organisation to contribute to strategic decision making and to influence and shape services for women and girls across the city.
